The exhibition Démocratie, by German artist Irina Rotaru, not only introduces the public to a new phase in her drawing, but in itself also represents an act, a gesture, which consists of depicting chosen elements of predetermined shapes before adding effects which, if possible, are unexpected. Hence, the title lies at the heart of it, as the exhibition is laid out around eleven drawings, each depicting a mouth saying the words demos kratos. Several vanishing points surround this center, all of which are linked to the future of humanity within nature.
