Born in 1980. Lives and works in Paris.
Irina Rotaru is a German artist, graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2005.
Her drawings make visible an invisible reality, the forms that we do not know or that we do not see: the cell, the particle, the heart of a thing, insect, plant or a human body; all true forms, crossed and worked from the inside by the artist’s imagination. A drawing that strips the triviality of the world of appearances. Her drawings entered the Florence and Daniel Guerlain’s Collection in 2005 and the Pompidou Museum in 2012.
